Information We Process

Depending on the features you use, your platform, and your privacy choices, Focus Cab may process the following categories of information:

• Events describing user actions taken in the App (e.g., starting or completing a focus session, completing onboarding, viewing a paywall, selecting a subscription tier)
• App version, build number, and environment
• Platform type (Android or iOS) and operating system version
• Language and regional locale
• Storefront country code, where reliably available
• Focus session timing information
• Device or other identifiers (such as pseudonymous installation identifiers or device models) used exclusively for attribution, crash diagnostics, and analytics

App Data Stays With You

Your focus sessions, tasks, notes, statistics, driving telemetry, coins, unlocked garage content, settings, and other app data are primarily stored locally on your device. Where supported and enabled, data may synchronize through platform-supported storage (such as Apple iCloud/CloudKit or Google Play Services). We do not use your task titles, task text, notes, or other free-form personal content for advertising or external telemetry.

Analytics & Consent

Focus Cab uses privacy-conscious analytics services to understand how users interact with the App and to improve its stability, functionality, onboarding, engagement, and subscription experience.

We do NOT intentionally collect or send:

• Your real name, contact list, or phone number
• Specific task titles, task step content, or personal note texts
• GPS coordinates, real-time location tracking, or location history
• Financial payment card details (all transactions are securely handled directly by Google Play and Apple)
• Cross-app advertising tracking without consent

Consent Control

Where analytics consent is required by applicable regional regulations (such as GDPR), analytics telemetry is disabled until you provide consent. You may also modify your analytics preferences at any time through the in-app settings in Focus Cab. Withdrawing consent stops further transmission of analytics events and does not impact core app functionality.

Location Features

Some optional Focus Cab features may reference your coarse regional location locally on your device to display ambient city themes and visual styles. Where location features are active:

• Location is processed locally on your device
• Focus Cab does not transmit your precise GPS coordinates to third-party analytics servers
• You can revoke location permissions at any time via your device operating system settings

App Blocking Features

Focus Cab may utilize Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls API or Android system accessibility/focus tools to help minimize digital distractions during active focus shifts. These capabilities operate strictly within the bounds of the host operating system. Focus Cab does not collect, record, or transmit lists of other installed applications on your device for analytics purposes.

Third-Party Services

Focus Cab integrates trusted third-party service providers to handle in-app billing, product telemetry, and platform services:

• Focus Cab uses RevenueCat to manage and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions (such as Focus Cab Pro). RevenueCat generates an anonymous App User ID to verify active subscription status.
• Focus Cab uses Mixpanel for product performance and user journey analysis. Mixpanel processes anonymized event logs and technical device properties to help us diagnose app issues and improve performance.
• Focus Cab may use AppsFlyer for campaign attribution and installation analytics, ensuring accurate marketing attribution and user onboarding flows.
• App downloads, digital updates, and all financial transactions are processed directly by Google Play (Google LLC) on Android and the App Store (Apple Inc.) on iOS. Focus Cab never receives, stores, or processes your credit card numbers or financial account credentials.
• Where cloud synchronization is enabled, Focus Cab may utilize Apple iCloud / CloudKit or Google Play Services to keep your progress and unlocked garage items in sync across your devices.

Data Retention & Deletion

Focus Cab retains data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable laws:

• Local Data: You can delete all locally stored app data at any time by clearing the application cache/data in device settings or by uninstalling the App.
• Analytics & Subscriptions: Technical data stored by third-party processors (such as RevenueCat and Mixpanel) is managed according to their standard data retention policies and configured lifecycles.
• Data Deletion Requests: You may contact us at any time at info@focuscab.com to request assistance with data deletion or inquiries regarding your data rights.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard data processed through Focus Cab. All network communications between the App and our service providers are encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption protocols.

Your Rights

Depending on your country or state of residence (including the European Economic Area under GDPR and California under CCPA/CPRA), you have specific privacy rights, including:

• The right to access and receive information about data processed
• The right to request correction or deletion of your data
• The right to restrict or object to certain processing
• The right to withdraw consent at any time without penalty

Children's Privacy

Focus Cab is a productivity timer and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we can remove such information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable regulatory standards. Any updates will be published with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
